No! We offer free delivery and pick-up within a 50 mile radius of Rapid City, SD.

Yes, in most cases someone over the age of 18 will need to be present to sign for and accept the crates. If you are unable to be present, we may be able to make special arrangements to ensure delivery.

No. Hexcrate is a location to location delivery service. This means we drop off your items at the nearest accessible point outside your home or apartment - typically your driveway, garage, or outside the door to your apartment building. We do not carry items inside your home or apartment building.

All rentals are for 1 week from the day of delivery. Let us know before your pick-up date how many extra weeks you need, and we’ll adjust your rental agreement. Each additional week costs 75% of your package’s one-week price. For example, the 1 Bedroom package is $99 for the first week, and each extra week is $74. No more than four weeks total.

Absolutely! Each of our crates are fully cleaned and sanitized between each move by our team.

Yup! At delivery, you will receive one 4”x6” label per crate in your rental. We kindly ask that you avoid using labels that will leave an adhesive residue behind when removed. This may be considered damage to the crate.

Nope! One of the best features of our crates are the locking handles on each end. This saves you both time and money.

Yes, of course. Any HexCrates or dollies that are lost, damaged, or unreturned from your order are HexCrates we can’t make available to other customers. Equipment will be counted and inspected by our team at pickup. Your credit card will be charged the next day or you may provide payment in the form of cash on the spot. The cost for missing, damaged, or unreturned items is $25 per crate and $99 per dolly.

You can cancel your order anytime up to 48 hours before the pre-scheduled delivery date for free. If you need to cancel within less than 48 hours, there is a $50 convenience fee. If you have already received your crates and need to cancel post-delivery, we simply charge a $99 restocking and early pick-up fee.

Yes. They’re reusable plastic moving totes with latching lids, a sturdier alternative to cardboard moving boxes. No tape, no folding, and they stack neatly in the truck.

Yes. We’re locally owned and family run, and delivery and pickup are free within 50 miles of Rapid City, including Box Elder, Sturgis, Spearfish and Hill City.

Packages start at $69, and the 1 Bedroom package is $99. You can add a dolly for $15/week. Delivery and pickup are free.
